QLD - Business Administration Trainee 

Business Administration Trainee
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic business administration trainee to join our team. This is a full-time role, which requires the right person to complete on-the-job training whilst working in a busy environment.
 
The successful applicant will need to be able to work collaboratively in a team environment, whilst also being able to use initiative and work autonomously.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answering phones and responding to support desk enquiries
  • Assisting with data entry and data quality monitoring to ensure the information on My Community Directory and My Community Diary is up-to-date and correct
  • General administration tasks
 
As this is a role supported by the First Start trainee program. 
 
The successful candidate will have:
  • Willingness to commit to a 12-month traineeship at the Certificate III level in Business
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing tasks and environments
  • A confident phone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using computers, including competence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality around data
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Good attention to detail
