Welcome to
Community Information Support Services

Critical Services for Australian Communities

(Please give what you can)

The My Community Platform is more than just a directory; it's a critical service that connects Australians to vital community services and organisations. As the premier source for linking government support and public needs, we are at the forefront of creating a happier, healthier Australia.

However, to continue our mission, we need your help. Your donation can help us maintain and expand our digital infrastructure, ensuring that every Australian has access to the community information they need, when they need it. Whether it's finding a local sports club or accessing essential health services, your support makes it possible.

Invest in the health and well-being of your community by donating to My Community Directory today. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected Australia.

Please donate today and make a difference in your community.

This week, Sarah was able to find a hot feed for her kids (using VAKS.org.au) when she couldn't make ends meet.

Your (tax-deductible) donation makes it possible to support people living in Australia so that the platform can be used for free by the public, community groups and service providers across Australia.

While you may not realise it, supporting community clubs and groups is not free and takes skilled engineers, a help desk and support staff.

Jenny no longer needs to travel to access healthcare, she and her GP have found the services she needs locally.

#wherveryoulive isn't just a hashtag - it's our mission to support every community in Australia. With over 10 million uses across Australia in the past 12 years the Directory is a lifeline to community services.

Sam added his sports club - his listing was found by two new players, and now they can create a team.

More people than ever before need to access community services to make ends meet. In donating you are helping ensure that we can keep these platforms running and continue supporting Australians' health and well-being, especially during challenging times.

Thank you for your support!
Who are we?

Community Information Support Services is social enterprise (and health promotion charity) that is all about bringing people together in local communities using the power of technology.

As a Not-for-Profit, social enterprise we focus on projects that support the health and well-being (and the alleviation of poverty) of Australians through the use of community information with a bold vision.

Our vision is to see the generation of better health and social outcomes across Australia by improved access to high quality community information. Our mission is to provide all Australians with access to the information they need to improve the health and wellness of their communities on a local, regional and national level.

To achieve this vision we focus on the coordination of health and wellness activities in local communities and provide ways that the public and service providers can work together. We have focused our activities to support people who are vulnerable to disease and isolation in the community including:

1)      People who struggle with their mental health
2)      Older Australians
3)      Young parents
4)      Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People
5)      People with chronic disease
6)      People with a disability

We collaborate with health and community sector organisations, government agencies with include Hospital and Health Services/ Districts, and professionals from various fields to help prevent and manage diseases in Australian communities.

Our work is powered by the Community Information Exchange.

We provide local information through the My Community Directory, My Community Diary, My Give Local websites.

We coordinate access to care via the Access My Healthcare website which was established though visionary staff in Queensland Health who have supported a joined-up health system.

We provide place-based connections through the My Community Info website.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The My should be replaced by your local community eg Mackay or Hobart, or Albany because we believe that information should be available wherever you live.
